Mornings
Start at Pier Nine Bakery before 7am to beat the line, then walk the promenade to the lighthouse. On clear days you can see the ridge in Bayview Terrace.
Getting around
The ferry downtown takes twelve minutes and is the most civilized commute in the city. The Blue Line covers everything else.
Where to live
Towers along Pier Street offer views and full service; the converted warehouses near Ferry Wharf offer character and space.
